Long radius elbows are used in normal working conditions, while short radius elbows are used in space constraints or sharp turning conditions.

In terms of scouring, wear and tear, long radius elbow is better than the short radius elbow. 

So the long radius elbow is more durable, but the price will be slightly higher.
